月ごとに変わるテーマで保育園児たちのワクワクをかきたてます。
たとえば「Beach」「Summer」「Space」「Farm」「World」「Chistmas」などなど…。
ハピオスインターナショナルスクールでは毎月、保育園児たちがワクワクするようなテーマを設定し、そのテーマに沿った内容で毎日の活動やイベントを実施。１カ月にわたり、テーマと関連する言葉に繰り返し触れ続けるうちに、さまざまなジャンルの言葉を自然と学んでいきます。- Circle time
サークルタイムで
心とからだの
ウォーミングアップ！「Good morning!」の元気な声ではじまるのが、朝のサークルタイムです。
今日の日付や天気を英語でどう表現するのかを学んだり、お友達の気持ちやお話を順番に聞いていったり…。少人数なので、一人ひとりの発言にじっくり耳を傾けられます。
また、歌やゲームを通して、毎月のテーマに関する単語にも触れていきます。- Show and Tell
自分の「好き」を
お友達の前で
堂々と表現海外の幼稚園ではポピュラーな、クラスのお友達の前で自分の好きなものや興味のあること、調べたことなどを発表する場です。
クラスの友達から認めてもらう喜びと自信によって、自分の気持ちを伝わるように表現する力が磨かれるとともに、友達の発表を通して聞く力や、多様性を受け入れる力が育まれます。

屋外でも室内でも、
頭とからだを
いっぱいに使って楽しみますお天気の良い日は公園に行き、保育園児が元気いっぱいに体を動かして遊び、エネルギーを発散！
またお部屋では、毎月のTopicに関するクラフト製作や、ごっこ遊びを行ったりしています。
＊週２回以上は公園に行くようにしています- Discovery Station
複数のアクティビティから
自分がやりたいものを
選んで参加。その月のテーマに沿った遊びができるコーナーを複数用意し、保育園児たちはその中から、自分が興味を持って「やりたい！」と思えるものを選び、主体的に参加します。
どれも文字や数字、書くことやtopicに関係する「学び」の要素を含んだものですが、保育園児たちは自分が選んだ「遊び」だから、目を輝かせてイキイキと取り組みます。- Costume Party
いつもと違う服装や
髪型で、思いっきり
はじけるひととき。月に一回、FarmerやHawaiianに紛したり、奇抜な髪型にセットしたりして（crazy hair day）、園ぐるみのパーティーを実施。クラスの垣根を越え、みんなでゲームやダンスを楽しみます。
非日常のワクワク感が味わえるようで、保育園児たちも楽しみにしている活動の一つです。- Seasonal Event
1年中、
楽しい季節イベントが
目白押し！ハピオスインターナショナルスクールの保育園児も先生も、楽しいことが大好き！年間を通してたくさんのイベントを行っています。
お餅つきや夏祭りや七夕、イースターにハロウィン、クリスマスコンサート…そして親子遠足などなど！日本の行事も海外の行事も、全力で楽しみます。

Whats it like working at happious?
I enjoy working at Happious because it is such an inviting and positive learning environment for young children. I can show up to work every day and be surrounded by people with positive attitudes.
What I love about happious is that children don’t just sit and answer textbooks or worksheets, the kids at happious learn English through fun circle time, playing games, unique activities and monthly them events.
Activities and monthly theme events such Farm, Hawaiian, summer, Halloween parties and a lot more, shows another way to play and it brings with its new experience, sentences and vocabulary choices｠for all the play items and play scenarios involved, children at happious plays together on these kinds of activities and events, they practice｠turn taking and listening｠in conversations too.
I love seeing the children at happious progress through the year, you can really see that they are having fun and enjoy speaking in English and just be confident about themselves.
Watching children learn something new is the most rewarding aspect of my job, whether it is learning how to put their socks on, play a new game or learn a new word in English, everyone at happious nurtures and support every child so that they can discover things they love or are interested in!
